Each summer, we host Burns Bog Summer Day Camps for kids ages 6-12 in the Delta Nature Reserve.
We need help to get kids active and learning outside! Requirements: Creativity, enthusiasm, and experience working with children required. Duties:

Where: Burnsview, Chalmers When: Choose the week(s) that are best for you from July 3 - August 24. Preference will be given to successful applicants who are available for more than one week. Who: You need to be a native or near native English speaker. You will be helping ELL students/ Activities program and Continuing ED summer programs. Please let you Career Teacher at your school know, so they can work with Intl Ed to meet the rest of the WEX requirements. Volunteering for SFU Camps offers practical experience in a safe & fun environment. Volunteers work with children & youth, build leadership skills, meet new people and have a rewarding summer as part of SFU Athletics & Recreation! SFU Summer Camp Volunteers help us provide a safe and fun environment within each program. They also act as role models for all camp participants. Specific duties include assisting instructors with the supervision of campers and coordination of activities. This is a great opportunity for those looking to gain experience with children and youth. Volunteers also acquire valuable skills through training, evaluations, and professional development workshops.
